5. Mental Peace for Zealouszestyliving

Hi friends,
A very good day/night to you.
We are aiming at zealouszestyliving which begins with mental wellness.
One more idea to constantly maintain mental peace is to manage your daily duties well in time. When our jobs are pending (specially when there is no one else you can blame.) it disrupts our mind. Our colleagues may pile work on us when we least expect or suspect but that is a different call altogether ,when we know that we have been lazy and inefficient and that it could have been avoided it sends you on a guilt spree.
That reminds me of the unfinished jobs I have to tackle today. More next time .
Here's one of my favourite quotes to keep you pepped up till then.

"Waves are inspiring not because they rise and fall ,but because whenever they fall they never fail to rise!."

Thank you for reading this blog, I am sure you agree with me.

4. Mental Well Being for Zealouszestyliving

Dear friends,
In our pursuit of zealouszestyliving we were at the step, actually the foundation to be precise which is achieving mental well being. I mentioned meditation in brief.
Many people find calmness in pursuing their hobbies. A dance performance may not be a monks idea of mental tranquillity but the lover of dance and a performer may think it to be so.

Lovers of rocking numbers may send our mental peace rocking but for them it might be a way to nourish their mind. Painters and artists may find solace in their respective arts. People do insist that there work is meditation for them.
But I feel that even they may want to have a different avenue for achieving mental peace once a while. Don't you agree with me.
More next time .  Thank you for reading this blog.

3. Calming the Mind for Zealouszestyliving

Hello friends,
A very good day/night to you all.

As mentioned earlier the way to healthy living that is zealouszestyliving starts with mental well being . This can be achieved in infinite ways but the requisite is a WILL.Where there is a will there are many ways.

Right now I can think of meditation . This calms  and clears a chaotic and  muddled mind. We can see and apprise the reality clearly when we are calm. Meditation helps us to develop the skill of staying focused and concentrate on acquiring inner strength.

Choose a quiet and clean place to sit and meditate . If you have a garden then sit under a tree, a terrace , a balcony , or any corner of your room will be just as fine. The preferable time is early morning ,if not any other time would be as good. You may chant the name of your god, aum, or the best would be to keep your mind devoid of any thoughts.

According to a Tibetan monk one should gaze at an angle of 45 degree while sitting in the meditation pose. (should try it !). Guide your drifting mind back to focus. Take breaks and continue meditation, this works superbly.
I often sit in front of the Buddha statue I have with a water body with floating flowers and incense . The mild fragrance of flowers sets the tempo. See what works for you and what is possible . More next time till then please write to me about the ways you adopt to calm your mind.
Thank you for reading this blog and keep smiling.

2. Having a healthy mind for Zealouszestyliving

Hi friends,
A very good day/night to you all .I mentioned about this blog being a blog of healthy living. Healthy living starts from ....any guesses???? not from personal hygiene ,nor from exercising and detoxification and so on ... it starts from the mind.
Our mind is the supreme director of this life of ours which I mentioned earlier is one and only one. If this chap, that is, our mind decides to embrace negativity and depressive thoughts , our life becomes miserable. We automatically behave in a way which takes us away from healthy living that is zealouszestyliving.
In this world where negativity and unfairness does exist , can we hope to control the other persons behaviour? Not always ,but we can always control our own behaviour and our reactions to others behaviour. Do you think it is easy , not at all ! When we experience a particular undesirable behaviour, let me put it more accurately, when we experience a behaviour which we don't desire from others and we feel cheated, hurt, angry, etc. we feel disappointed and start weaving a web of negative thoughts about that person or our relation to that person e.g. your friend hurts you ,you start having doubts about your friendship, your boss hurts you, you start hating him and stop respecting him. All these reactions are absolutely normal and its possible to get over them but what is dicey is "the web we start weaving of negative thoughts"   This makes us behave in such a manner that we cause a lot of harm to our self. If we are thin and weak we avoid eating , if we are overweight we  indulge in overeating, in short each and every action takes us away from healthy living.
And most often than not the person who has caused this is merrily unaware of it, has forgotten the incident or the poor individual is not even aware that he or she has caused so much of a turmoil in your life. Under these circumstance can you blame others for your state , not at all!
We may face difficulties in life , this also makes us start weaving the web of negative thoughts.  We fail in an interview once ,we lose our job, comforts etc.  this weaving starts taking place.
Our mind is a fertile land if we sow good thoughts which are comparable to good quality seed and add the fertiliser of discipline along with hard work , we are sure to reap a good quality harvest ,otherwise we will be left with weeds or a barren land in other words , an unhealthy mind.
Next time we will discuss how to have a healthy mind, what are the methods of having a healthy mind, etc. do you have something to add , please do , your suggestions are valuable to me.
Thank you for reading this blog.
